Where is it?
In the Alaska Junction, West Seattle, on a quiet residential street. Coffee is a 3-minute walk, and Bakery Nouveau is 4. The old-growth forest of Schmitz Preserve is about a 7-minute drive, or about 35 minutes on foot. Alki Beach is a short drive, and the water taxi from Seacrest puts you at downtown’s Pier 50 in about 12 minutes. Park once, walk everywhere.
How long can we stay?
Two nights at least, with at least a day’s notice. Stays up to 29 nights. Planning something longer? Ask us, we welcome monthly stays by request. Two nights at least, and up to 29 when you book online. Dates too soon to book online are greyed out on the calendar; for those, just send the hosts a request. Planning something longer? Ask us, we welcome monthly stays by request.
What’s the cancellation policy?
Full refund if you cancel at least 5 days before check-in. Inside 5 days, half of the stay is refunded.
Why book direct?
No platform guest fee (platforms typically add 14% or more), a direct line to your hosts, and flexible dates.
When do we get the address?
Once your booking is complete. Until then, think of it as the Alaska Junction, on a quiet residential street.
Where do we park?
The driveway fits two cars, and there’s street parking too. Driving electric? There’s an on-site Tesla (NACS) charger.
Is the house licensed?
Yes. Seattle STR Operator License STR-OPLI-26-005482, operated by Virtually LLC.

How many people does it sleep?
Up to five guests in total. Adults are 13 and up, and children are 2 to 12. Up to two babies under 2 can come along too, and they aren’t counted.
There’s a king in the primary bedroom, a queen in the second bedroom and a queen sofa bed in the den, plus one bathroom with a walk-in shower and a heated floor.
Check-in and checkout?
Check-in is 3:00 PM and checkout is 11:00 AM. Self check-in is keyless: your personal door code arrives before you do, so there’s no key handoff.
What makes it different?
It’s a renovated craftsman with tankless hot water (back-to-back showers stay hot), a heated bathroom floor, a motorized louvered pergola over the deck, an all-in-one washer-dryer and a four-seat Softub. The Softub is a portable, insulated soaking tub with a rigid shell and no permanent plumbing, easy to set up and move.
And your hosts live just up the street. You’re hosted by neighbors, not a front desk.
What’s the kitchen like?
An induction cooktop with downdraft and a Val Cucina convection steam oven. Heads-up: it’s not a gas or conventional oven.
There’s island seating under pendant lights, a dining nook with a cushioned window bench, and coffee two ways: Nespresso or pour-over.
What’s the bathroom like?
One bathroom, with a walk-in shower, a heated floor and a bidet. The hot water is tankless, so back-to-back showers stay hot.
Is there laundry and Wi-Fi?
Yes to both: an all-in-one washer-dryer, and fast Wi-Fi.
Are there quiet hours?
Yes, 9 PM to 8 AM. It’s a quiet residential street, and we’d like to keep it that way for the neighbors.

Does the house have a Softub?
Yes. A four-seat Softub sits on the back deck, kept warm and ready for your arrival. Each adult signs a quick online waiver before the first soak.
What’s the pergola?
A motorized louvered pergola with integrated lighting covers the deck. Open the louvers to the stars, or close them against the drizzle.
Can we use the fire pit and grill?
Yes, both. The gas fire pit is finished and ready for guests, with Adirondack chairs around it, and there’s a grill. A hedge of evergreens wraps the deck, and a carved wooden bear keeps it company.

Dogs

Is it pet-friendly?
Yes. Up to two pets, dogs or cats. One $80 pet cleaning fee per stay covers the extra deep clean after a furry guest. Service animals always stay free.
Where can we walk the dog?
Good to know: Seattle doesn’t allow dogs on public beaches. The paved Alki Trail makes a good leashed walk instead.
Somewhere to rinse a muddy dog?
Yes. There’s an outdoor dog-wash station, so rainy-day walks don’t follow you inside.
