Good to know
Questions, answered.
The short version of everything guests ask us — the tub, the beds, the dogs, the door code. Anything else, just write to us; a real person answers.
Does the house have a hot tub?
Yes — a private Softub hot tub on the back deck, included with every stay and kept warm and ready. Each adult signs a quick 60-second online waiver before the first soak.
How many people does it sleep?
Six: a king bedroom, a queen bedroom, and a queen sofa bed in the den — two bedrooms plus a den, one spa bathroom with a radiant-heated floor.
Is it pet-friendly?
Yes — up to two house-trained dogs are welcome for an $80 per-stay fee. Service animals always stay free. Heads-up rule most visitors miss: Seattle doesn't allow dogs on public beaches, but the paved Alki Trail is a great leashed walk.
Where is it?
In the West Seattle Junction — 3 minutes' walk to coffee, 4 to Bakery Nouveau, and minutes to Alki Beach and the water taxi that puts you at downtown's Pier 50 in about 12 minutes. Park once; walk everywhere.
What makes it different?
Endless tankless hot water (the third shower is as hot as the first), a heated spa-bath floor, a smart louvered pergola over the deck, laundry that runs itself, and the private hot tub. Two local owners renovated the house themselves and live up the street — you're hosted by neighbors, not a front desk. A sauna is arriving soon.
Check-in and checkout?
Check-in 3:00 PM, checkout 11:00 AM. Keyless self check-in: your personal door code arrives before you do — no lockbox, no key handoff. Need a noon checkout? Ask; when the calendar allows, we say yes.
